1. Overview
This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for subscription cancellations and refunds for bugX services operated by bugX ("we", "us", or "our") at bugx.in.
By subscribing to our paid plans (Starter or Pro), you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
2. Subscription Plans
bugX offers the following subscription plans:
- Free Plan: No charge, limited features
- Starter Plan: Rs. 99/month - 100 checks per day, all tools access
- Pro Plan: Rs. 299/month - Unlimited checks, API access, priority support
All paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly recurring basis.
3. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard:
- Log in to your bugX account
- Go to Dashboard > Settings or Billing
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Confirm your cancellation
Important: Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
After cancellation:
- Your account will be downgraded to the Free plan at the end of the billing cycle
- You will retain access to your data and history
- You can resubscribe at any time
4. Refund Policy
We offer refunds under the following conditions:
4.1 Eligible for Refund
- Within 7 days of first subscription: Full refund if you're not satisfied with the service
- Service unavailability: Pro-rated refund if our service is unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours
- Billing errors: Full refund for any duplicate or erroneous charges
- Technical issues: Refund if we are unable to resolve a critical technical issue affecting your use of the service
4.2 Not Eligible for Refund
- Requests made after 7 days of subscription
- Partial month usage after the 7-day period
- Change of mind after using the service extensively
- Failure to cancel before renewal date
- Violation of our Terms of Service
Note: Refunds are not automatic. You must request a refund by contacting our support team.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email us at support@bugx.in
- Include your registered email address
- Provide the reason for your refund request
- Include any relevant transaction IDs or receipts
We will review your request and respond within 3-5 business days.
6. Refund Processing
Once a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method
- Processing time: 5-10 business days depending on your bank
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund is initiated
7. Subscription Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You will receive a reminder email 3 days before renewal.
To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, please cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
8. Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify our pricing. If prices change:
- Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days in advance
- You may cancel before the new pricing takes effect
- Continued use after price change constitutes acceptance
9. Free Trial (If Applicable)
If we offer a free trial:
- No payment is required during the trial period
- You will be notified before the trial ends
- Cancel before trial ends to avoid charges
- Trial conversions are subject to the same refund policy
